We often put away wet umbrellas with a slight feeling of annoyance.
However, as with many everyday experiences, this too can be transformed into an opportunity for positive mindfulness. Metaphorically speaking, it is a real 'change of state': from something we perceive as liquid, cold and damp, and sometimes unpleasant, to something we feel as dry, warm, reassuring and comfortable.
Repeated over time, this transformation takes on the characteristics of a small ritual, which the RITUAL PUDDLES wall-mounted umbrella stand aims to interpret and enhance.
The model is made entirely of stainless steel to ensure maximum rust resistance and durability.
The drip tray rests on the floor and is easily removable for cleaning.
Inside the tray, a perforated sheet of metal guides and holds the umbrellas' tips.
At the top, perforated folded sheet metal acts as a support for inserting umbrellas.
The small matching 'beaks' allow folding umbrellas to be hung by their straps and add aesthetic value, as their shape evokes ancient linguistic signs or ritual symbols.
